Vernon Frederick Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of Vernon Frederick Williams announces his passing on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the age of 72 after complications with diabetes and high blood pressure at his home in Scarborough, Ontario.

Vernon was born on February 28, 1950, in Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies to Egbert and Blossie Williams. He is the seventh of eight children and will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In 1986 he married Veronica Bergland, and together they raised their daughters Sharee and Velonya. Vernon worked as a welder and obtained a Diploma in Photography at Dawson College, Montreal, Quebec. Vernon is survived by his children Sharee and Velonya.

We will be celebrating Vernon’s life with a memorial service at St. Margaret in the Pines Anglican, 4130 Lawrence Ave E. where he was a devout member for over 30 years on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 10:00 am – 11: 00 am., with a funeral service to follow from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.

As an act of kindness, the family would greatly appreciate floral gifts to be delivered to Giffen – Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave E. by Friday, March 18, 2022, by 4:30 pm.
