Ruth died suddenly at Centenary Hospital, May 5th at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Ken, her parents Clara and Cecil, and siblings Merrill, Vivian, Clarence and Harold. Survived by nieces Linda and Patricia, and nephew Greg. Predeceased by nieces Karen and Joan
Born in Wingham Ontario, Ruth excelled as a manageress of ladies dress shops in Highland Creek. She became an established proprietress of Sunny's Natural Foods, Eglinton Ave. E. in Scarborough until her retirement in 1999.
She generously contributed to charities, particularly those supporting the humane treatment of all animals.
There will be no service, due to Covid-19.
Ruth will always be remembered by her good friend, Bruce Bryer.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ruth's memory to the IFAW or the Humane Society.
