What a great guy and what a wonderful family.  The world is a lonelier place without him.

I worked with Ross at the Marine Unit in the early 2000s.  Ross was always good for a laugh (and a drink) and was dedicated to serving.

My sincerest condolences to family and friends especially as Ross left this earth much too early.

My words alone can't express my sadness to hear of Ross's passing. For some unknown reason I thought about Ross this afternoon while walking my dog. I decided to google his name and came upon his obituary. 

Ross and I worked together throughout are years of service. He was a "Man" with a tremendous sense of humour, kindness and intellect. Ross was one of those people that made the Toronto Police Service a better place to work.

My sincerest condolences to your family. Ross and I worked together for many years.  I was an employee with Transport Canada and he, along with his colleagues were amazing support and great friendships developed.  It will be missed. A very kind soul

Our sincere condolences to your family at this time.  Ross was one of our brothers (Kevin O’Donnell) best friends, my sister and I went to school with Ross as well and will be remembered as one of the kindest  guys, so very sorry for your loss.

I had no idea Ross had become ill. That's my fault for not having kept in touch. I knew Ross from the job in a general way but, when I went to Ident. late in my time on the job, even though I was the "detective" and he was the constable, Ross took me under his wing and became the mentor I needed to fit in at my new work place. I went to him for advice and we did many crime scenes together. I admired and respected Ross and am saddened by his passing at much too early a time of life. Your Husband, Dad, Grandad was well respected by his peers on the job.  I know you are proud.

My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers to Ross’ family.  We went to OPC in 1981 stayed in touch over the years and worked together at the Marine Unit. We shared a lot of laughs along the way, talked about jazz music- in fact he burned me several albums of the classics!  I will truly miss his warmth, smile and his genuineness    Gone far too soon.
