Robert “Bob” Melbourne Ferron – Passed away peacefully Sunday November 26th, 2023 at the Ajax-Pickering Hospital, at the age 88. Bob will be truly missed by his devoted partner & friend Teresa Martin. Saddened are his children Terry Ferron (Sarah), Lianne Robertson (John) and daughter-in-law Marie Ferron (son Grant predeceased). Grandpa “Bob” was proud of his grandchildren Challen (Taylor), Ashley (Cody), Clayton, Shaelynn, Madison, Maegan (Tyler), Courtney (Abe), as well as his great-grandchildren Jaycee, Scarlet, Emelia, Millie and Brooke (predeceased).
Predeceased by his wife Mary Ferron (Lyttle), (1997), who made sure he would always belong to the two best Clubs in the world. Firstly, as a Charter Member of Tam Heather Curling & Tennis to which he was extremely proud. He enjoyed curling for many years and felt honoured to attend the 50th Anniversary Gala, this past April. Secondly, as a member of the Lyttle Family Club, where many trips with family, parties and good times were had. Both of these Clubs rewarded Bob with many extended family and friends, who will dearly miss him.
Predeceased by his parents, John Ferron and Mary Connell, and siblings Glenn, Georgina, Etta, Annie, Murray, Bruce and June. Survived by siblings Lorna Dean, Barbara Joan Fraser.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation from 1-4 PM on Sunday December 3rd at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home Scarborough (4115 Lawrence Avenue East). A funeral Service will be held in the Giffen-Mack West Hill Chapel at 11am the following day, December 4th.
A Livestream of Robert’s service will also be available on the Giffen-Mack Scarborough website. If desired, in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
