I grew up on Mr Campion’s street just a few houses down and have been a life-long friend of his daughter Cathy. We spent many hours over the years visiting each other’s families: attending special events, Christmas celebrations or just hanging out. Mr Campion was a very special person, always ready with a big smile and twinkling eyes. He was genuinely interested in whatever was going on in my life and often made me laugh with his quick wit. The Campion house was a second home to me where I always felt welcome. He was a huge part of my childhood and was a constant presence on our street. I can’t imagine it without him there. He touched my heart and I will remember him always. XO Love and hugs to all of the Campion family. 

Mr. Campion, who we refer to as Bob, was our next door neighbor. We saw him as friendly, gentle, and kind. He was always willing and ready to give us advice and to offer his help. He welcomed us when we moved beside him in 2005. His infectious smile and his generosity will always be etched in our memory. 

Today, we mourn the loss of our friend, but not as those without hope. We extend our condolences to his family and we do pray that they will find comfort in knowing that such a gentle gentleman has lived a life that was shared with those around Him. We look for the day to come soon when there will be no more death. May his soul rest in peace.

Mr Campion always had a kind word for me -when we were in High School, through the years, and later on when Anne & family visited from Vancouver.

His sense of humour was infectious and his independence & determination  have proven to be positive attributes of who he was.

Extending condolences to Anne & the entire generations of Campion families, your Dad will be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Campion's passing. My mother, Thelma Neal was a friend and longtime fellow parishioner at St. John the Divine. Mr. Campion had a keen mind, gentle disposition and was a true gentleman. He was a pillar of the Church always willing to help others. He will be sadly missed.

When the Toronto cousins came to  visit, it was exciting. The table needed to be laden with all the good stuff we were saving for the
Queen of England. Cottage visits, discussing every relative,good food, lots of laughs and so much love,.....Thank you Cousin Bob for being you. May your good memories help you through the sad days ahead.
