Michael Keith Walcott

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Michael Keith Walcott, also known as Mike, at the age of 76. He passed away on November 2, 2023, at 1:44 am, surrounded by his beloved wife, Marlene Walcott, and daughter, Michelle Skeete, in Toronto, Canada.

Michael was born in Carrington Village and raised in Ivy Road, St. Michael, Barbados, and came to Canada in August 1975. After working as a printer for several years, he started his own business, Marike Graphics, which he ran until 2018.

Mike loved travelling, boxing, cricket, cooking and working with cars, he was an all-around general handyman. He was a gentle, kind-hearted soul who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on forever.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Walcott of 47 years, daughter, Michelle Skeete, two brothers, Dennis and Andy, and sister, Jean. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great - nephews and sisters-in-law, his mother-in-law, and six grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Toronto, Canada. We invite all of Michael's loved ones and friends to celebrate his beautiful life.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, located at 4115 Lawrence Ave East, West Hill, ON M1E2S2, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, Michael's loving wife requests that a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
