MARY JANE SKINNER July 14, 1945 - February 23, 2012 A phenomenal woman with a radiant smile who touched many hearts has gone home to be with the Lord. Though it is a time to mourn and a time to shed tears, we can also rejoice in knowing her family and friends deeply loved her. As a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend she was a trusted confidante loved by all. Mary Jane is deeply missed by her children Valarie Naomi Skinner, Thomas Arthur Skinner, Ronald Jerome Skinner, Clara-Belle Williams and husband Gladstone of Toronto; sisters Eveline Dear of Burlington, Louise Zelazny of St. Catharines, Irene Bell of Hamilton, Dorothy Quarles of Denver, Mammie Pelley of Guysborough ; brothers Junior Skinner and wife Julie of Willowdale, Douglas Skinner and Louis Skinner of Toronto; Ella, wife of her late brother Lawrence Skinner of Antigonish and Nora, wife of late brother Bill Skinner of Mississauga. Mary Jane was also blessed with many grandchildren, one great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 29th and Thursday, March 1st from 4-8 p.m. both days at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. East, Scarborough, ON. Church Service will be held at Global Kingdom Ministries 1250 Markham Rd., Toronto, ON, on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11 a.m., with reception to follow at the church after the burial service at Pine Hills Cemetery.
