Mary Ann Carter

May 19, 1930 - August 9, 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ann Carter announces her passing on August 9th, 2016 at the age of 86. Mary will be missed by her beloved husband of many years, Robert, as well as her children Jeff (Bev) and Dave (Sue). Loving “Nanna” to Matthew, Christine, Caitlin and Stephanie.

Mary was predeceased by her parents William and Jane Bailey as well as her siblings Ruth, Marg and Albert.

Visitation will take place at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. (one block west of Kingston Rd.) at 10:00am on Friday August 12th, 2016. A service in the chapel of the funeral home will follow at 11:00am.

Mary will be missed by all, and forever be remembered for her steadfast devotion to family and friends.

That saved a wretch like me.

Was blind, but now I see.

A life of joy and peace.

When we've been there ten thousand years

Bright shining as the sun.

We've no less days to sing God's praise

Than when we've first begun.
