Marlon Ethelbert Henry, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the age of 64. Marlon is survived by his two sons, Nicholas Adam Henry and Michael Joseph Henry. His spirit lives on in his children, as they continue to partake in the passions and hobbies that he shared with them. Memories of Marlon will be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Marlon is predeceased by his loving mother, Jean Henry. Jean raised Marlon and his siblings in Trinidad before immigrating to Canada in pursuit of a better future for her children. Marlon’s ambitions led him to possess a strong work ethic early in life, graduating from the University of Toronto. He went on to lead a successful career in programming, spanning over three decades. His unique skillset, vast knowledge, and ability to problem solve always made him a desired asset to any team. Beyond his work, you could often find Marlon at the bowling alley, where he bowled multiple 300 games. His other hobbies included watching movies and playing dominoes with his children. In his youth, he also enjoyed playing sports such as soccer and cricket.
Marlon was an intelligent and serious individual who also possessed a humorous and playful side, which he shared with those closest to him. His role as a father and role model will be remembered for generations to come.
