Malcolm John MacLeod

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Malcolm John MacLeod age 74 at Sunnybrook Hospital on January 8th, 2016 after a fall outside his home which resulted in severe brain trauma. Loving husband of 53 years of Mary (nee Forget). Beloved and proud father of Don (Shelley), Sheila, Heather (Roger). Proud Grandfather to Megan, Makayla, Calym and Lauren whose photos he carried around in his wallet. He is survived by his brother Gordon (Morag) and their children & families in Scotland. Predeceased by his parents and stepfather. Malcolm will be sadly missed by all extended family and his many friends with whom he shared many happy times. Malcolm persevered through many health issues, including two different battles with cancer. Pursuing a career as a skilled master plumber and gas fitter whose expertise was sought by many. Friends and family may call at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, visitation is on Saturday January 16th from 6-9 pm and Sunday January 17th from 3:30-4:30 pm followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 4:30 pm.
