Ivan Roy Hill

Passed away peacefully on Monday July 6th surrounded by family in Welland, Ontario. Loving husband of Susan and the late Catherine. Cherished father of Ron (Helen), Rick, Michelle (Alan) and Larry (Rochelle). Devoted step-father of Jennifer (Steven Petter) and Karen (Chris Rhind). Adored grandfather of Michael, Gareth, Noah, Lana, Samantha, Natasha, Nicholas and Charlotte. Ivan will be forever missed by his Brother Norm (Terry) and remembered fondly by all for his devotion to the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, his integrity, wry sense of humour and eternal optimism. Family and friends gathered at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. Scarborough, ON (1 block west of Kingston Rd.) on Sunday July 12 2015 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral service was Monday July 13 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Welland Hospital Dialysis Unit. Cremation.
