Surrounded by family, Gerry passed away peacefully, on Tuesday November 16, 2010 at Scarborough General Hospital in his 83rd year. Missed by his loving wife, Norma (Bullett), the two first met while growing up in Montreal 65 years ago and were happily married for more than 57 years. Loving father of Gerry (predeceased), Cathy (Brian), Tim (Laura) and Dan (June). Pa will also be missed by his wonderful grandchildren, Shane (Candis), Amber, Brett, Andrew, Nicole, Danielle and Garrett. The last remaining sibling of 11, Buzz was recently predeceased by his twin sister Florence. Retired for more than 25 years, Gerry will be fondly remembered by his colleagues at Imperial Oil (41 years) and his many good friends including the gang at the Legion. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at GIFFEN-MACK SCARBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4115 Lawrence Ave E, West Hill, On. 416-281-6800. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11 am. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association or a charity of your choice.
