Fred Adolphus Gill passed peacefully on August 5th, 2018, at Providence Healthcare, in Toronto, Ontario. Born on June 20th, 1950, in St. Joseph Parish, Barbados to Carmen Gill (née Knight) and Gordon Gill. He rejoins his parents and his brother Michael Knight, in Eternity.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 38 years, Aula Gill (Née Brathwaite); children Denise Gill and Jason Gill (Laura Cavette-Gill); grandchildren Isaiah Fortune and Eva Gill; sisters Patsy Alleyne, Ellalean Knight and Marva Blackman; many nieces and nephews; as well as his best friends Andy Scanterbury, and Jason Ro.
Fred will be forever remembered as a quiet and gentle soul.
Services for Fred will be held on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home at 4115 Lawrence Ave E. in Scarborough, Ontario. There will be a Visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and a Celebration of Life to take place at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
