Frank Turner

Passed away suddenly at Bendale Acres in his 84th year after a full life, well-lived. Loving husband to Olive for over 63 years. Father to Howard (Karen), Susan (Jason), Paul (Sandy) and Helen (Bill). Grandfather to Rob, Dan, Robert, Charlene, Jack and Erika, and great-grandfather (GG-Dad) to Jayden, Madison and Logan. Arrived in Canada from the UK in 1954 after leaving the Royal Engineers. Retired from Northway Survey Corporation in 1992 after a 38-year career in aerial mapping. Original resident of Curran Hall Park community, since 1957.

Frank approached life with great energy. Whether working long hours to support his growing family, building a major extension on the house, taking the family on camping trips across North America, or volunteering with the local Boy Scout troop, he touched the lives of many people.

Family and friends may gather at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre "Scarborough", 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill, Ontario (one block west of Kingston Road), 416-281-6800 from 1-2 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2013 with a Memorial Service to follow in our Chapel at 2 o'clock.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
