It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Doreen Baznick on November 10th 2013. Predeceased by her husband Michael Baznick and daughter Donna, she was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her joie de vivre and strength will be missed by her sons David Woodhouse (Linda), Rick Woodhouse (Sandra) and David Baznick (Sandra) grandchildren Allan (Mary Anne), Brenda (John), Stephanie (Tony), Michael (Shaila), John (Emma), Erin, Heather (John) and five great grandchildren and her many friends.
She was a long time employee and union president at Honeywell Controls where she met her oldest and dearest friends. A celebration of her life will take place at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough from 1pm to 3pm Sunday November 24th 2013. Friends are asked to relate their favourite anecdotes, be they humorous or heartfelt. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian diabetes foundation would be appreciated.
