I just heard this news and am devastated! Brian was like a little brother to me. We worked together at  law firm! He was such a godsend to me as he was always there to talk to me and reassure me when I was getting used to the environment and politics. Even after Brian left the firm, we kept in touch and met up to see how each of us was doing. When he got the job at BA I encouraged him to move uptown. I know he really enjoyed his new apartment uptown. I even got to spend a lovely evening with him on his balcony!! Brian loved that I visited NYC often as he loved his cologne! Memories of going to Barneys’s to get what he needed! 

I will miss Brian so much! I hope his mom, sister & Lucy are doing ok!

I just heard about what happened and came here hoping it wasn't true.

I Met Brian 15 years ago when working at a law firm together and we instantly bonded and became good friends. We shared the same interest and hundred of walks and conversations. Unfortunately we lost track of each other during Covid and got disconnected.

I thought there would always be time to re-connect but unfortunately  life decided for us. I will keep you in my prayers and will miss you.

Fly high brother!

Brian was always the first to reach out and check in on me when I started at BA. Not only was he a colleague, but above all, he was a friend and mentor. Always giving me advice and recommendations of the best places to see, eat and shop around the area. 

Our mid-day coffee walks and sushi/sandwich/burger run will always be a fond memory of mine. Getting caught in the rain while making the track uphill back to the office from Black Camel was well worth it. As we devour our sandwiches together in the lunch room, we both agreed to take the subway back next time around.

Brian had an adventurous and creative soul, and there was so much he wanted to do and share with the world. He would always send me links to the newest Adobe updates or anything he thought I would be interested in. Having worked with Brian closely, I can say he was the glue that held us together in the team. Words can’t describe how we feel, and I’m grateful I got the chance to know him. 

My heart goes out to Brian’s family, friends and loved ones. Although my time with Brian was short, he will not be forgotten. May his thoughts, hopes and memories live on.

My deepest condolences to Brian's friends and family.  Brian was an incredibly warm and funny presence in the office accompanied by a great artistic talent.  He was always so complimentary about all of the people that he worked with and humble about learning the new aspects of our work.  At the same time, he wasn't shy about nudging those of us who were less artistically inclined to make better decisions and create better products.  I'll never be able to use the phrase "jazz it up" seriously or in jest without thinking of Brian.  May his memory be a blessing for all that were fortunate enough to know him.

It has been an honour to get to know Brian as a fellow colleague and friend for a number of years, since the day that I began working at BA Group in 2019. Mid-day coffee walks to Starbucks, online music sharing, and restaurant recommendation and review sessions are some of my favourite memories that I've held dearly and will forever cherish within that time.

Brian's radiant (and very witty) personality, creative mind, and kindness towards others will always be at the forefront of his remembrance.

I extend my sincere condolences to Brian's friends, family, and others who have gotten the chance to know and/or support him throughout his lifetime.

I am so sorry to hear of Brian's death.  I will always remember the curious,  kind and friendly young man who greeted us when we moved in and who cheerfully put up with the antics of the little kids next door.

Brian was a dear friend and colleague at BA Group. He would come by my desk just to say, "Hi Ms. Pham" and to see how I was doing. We had some great laughs at work and we shared heart-to-heart moments particularly when we both lost loved ones within days of each other. He was one of my supports during a difficult time when I lost my dog as I was for him when he lost his dad. The tears, comfort, and kindness will never be forgotten.

Brian was incredibly talented in creative arts and graphic design. I had a chance to see his portfolio and work before BA Group and he truly had a keen eye for beauty, art, composition and space. When he spoke about his collective work there was a sense of confidence, passion and joie de vivre that he proudly embraced with a smile from ear to ear.

My last memory of Brian was a chat we had in the office kitchen days before the holidays. He reminded me (again) to get him a cool keychain from Australia while visiting my family abroad. As a promise to Brian I will be bringing back, in his words, "a cool Australian keychain".

It has been an absolute privilege and joy to work with Brian and an even greater honour to be his friend. He will be greatly missed.

I'd like to offer my deepest condolences to Brian's family and friends. Brian was truly a unique character, and his creativity, humor and fun demeanor will be missed immensely. I'm already missing the random discussions on gadgets I didn't know existed and I could always count on Brian for a laugh when spirits were low. Offering my deepest condolences to Brian's family and loved ones in the wake of his passing. It was truly a pleasure working with him over the years and I'm grateful to have known him as both a colleague and a friend. I will always fondly remember our many conversations about cars, music and gadgets. The Neverlies are also thankful for his significant input to our musical endeavors as the visual artist for our first record. Brian was a very talented artist and will live on forever to the many people he touched with his creative work.

It was with great sadness that we, his co-workers, and more importantly, friends, learned of the terrible news of Brian’s passing. He was known to all of us as a deeply affectionate, approachable, empathetic, and dutiful man. He was a gifted artist, and a good friend.
