Peacefully, on Father’s Day, surrounded by his family, Alexander passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Loving and devoted husband to Nadine for 57 years. Cherished father to Roderick (Katie, (stepson Aaron)), Michael (Catherine) and Stephanie (Todd). Proud and beloved Papa to Sean, Aiden and Cooper. Predeceased by his sister Mary, brother William, and twin Frank. Alex is also survived by much-loved family in the U.K. and Australia. Alexander will be remembered as a man of faith and a true gentleman. He loved reading, the sun, and the sea.
A Celebration of Alexander’s Life will be held at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 12 NOON with visitation one hour prior.
At the family’s request donations in Alexander’s memory may be made to the Scarborough Health Network – Centenary Site.
