Robert Aram LeBlanc, of West Harwich, died surrounded by family on Monday, December 22. He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on January 6, 1928, the son of Hermina (Parent) LeBlanc and Aram C. LeBlanc.He was a graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket. He received his accounting degree summa cum laude from Bryant College in 1949. Upon graduation, he was employed by the accounting firm of Harris and Gifford in Providence, Rhode Island.He was called into the military in 1950 and served during the Korean War in Korea and in Japan.Upon his discharge from the military, he returned to his previous employment until 1954, when he was appointed Director of Finance for the City of Woonsocket. In 1957 he became Controller of The Top Company in Boston and was later named Treasurer.In 1976 he was named Controller of Salem Hospital in Salem, Massachusetts.The hospital became part of North Shore Medical Center, where Bob continued his career.He was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the North Shore Medical Center and remained in that post until his retirement in 1996.
Bob was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Parish, where for several years he was active in the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. He loved books, music, and the Red Sox.
He is survived by Charlotte, his beloved wife of 60 years, and their four sons and their wives: Michael and Donna of Norwood, Paul and Elizabeth of Lexington, Stephen and Leslie of Hopkinton, NH, and Robert and Maureen of Milton.He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main Street (Route 28), in West Harwich on Saturday, January 3 at 10am.Visiting hours will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, January 2 at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main Street in West Harwich. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Holy Trinity Parish, PO Box 682, West Harwich, MA 02671.
