John Bernard Simpson

Born October 27,1943, to John T. Simpson & Florence C.(Smith) Simpson, John was the only child of

John T. and Florence (Smith) Simpson. John attended D-Y Regional High School class of 1961 and attended Castleton State College in Vermont graduating with the Class of 1969. John so loved music and will be remembered by his friends as an expert in classical music. John loved the Harry Potter stories, he had a great knowledge of presidential history and he enjoyed attending the Cove Club of

Harwich, MA, for many years where he loved painting pictures. He was a fan of the Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Sox. When he was able, he attended mass at Holy Trinity Parish in West Harwich. John always enjoyed holiday meals with the Gonzales family of Harwich.

We would like to thank all the staff at South Dennis Healthcare for the care

they gave to John while he was a resident.

Visiting hours will be on May 31,2023 from 8:30-9:30 AM at Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St. (Rt. 28), West Harwich, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Rt. 28, West Harwich. at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM at the Smith Family Plot in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wellesley Avenue, Needham, MA.
