I’m from Ireland and visted Cape Cod back in 2010 for a month and during that time my friends and I got to know John from his taxi business. John would drop us to a lake everyday and pick us up in the evening and would genuinely show an interest in our day! We would even struggle to convince John to take our money as he wouldn’t charge us! He would give us the history of the area and told us about a time he visited Ireland. He was a true gentleman and made us feel very welcome in Cape Cod!  I found his business card in my wallet just now and decided to look John up and I’m very very saddned to see that John has passed away. My condolences to Johns family. May he Rest In Peace. I remember the 1959 Pontiac with the faulty electrical system . I also knew John for a very long time from school. He rescued me a few times from the airport. I saw John on a regular basis in Dennis Port waiting for fares sitting in his cab. Always dear to me and always had a smile on his face. John, you will be missed.
