Stacie’s good humor and generous spirit touched everyone she met, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Stacie’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by her beloved children, Emily and Joseph Daughenbaugh, both of whom were the lights of her life, and made her beam with pride; proud parents, Cathy and Kurt Quade; adoring sisters, Leslie Quade and Jennifer Knox (Jason Knox); spouse, Michael Daughenbaugh; uncle, Mark Quade (Kathy Quade); great uncle Steve Quade; business partner, George Scheppmann; and many cousins, sweet nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in-law, and many close friends whom were considered her chosen family, all dearly loved. She was greeted in Heaven by her grandparents, Willard and Ethel Deming, Derwood and Dorothy Quade; father and mother-in-law, James and Patricia Daughenbaugh; uncles, Curt and Chris Deming; aunt, Ann Quade; sister-in-law, Christine Woods; niece, Charleston Ella Knox.
Visitation services will be held at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel, West Des Moines, Iowa, Tuesday July 11th from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral services will also be at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel, Wednesday July 12th at 2pm.
