Ruth was born on November 28, 1922 in Webster City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Jake and Hannah Tapper. She helped her family on the farm and later worked in banking and as a secretary for an attorney in Webster City.
She married Raymond Roline of Dows, Iowa on August 21, 1948 and they moved to Des Moines to start their home and family. They had two daughters; Rita and Joni. In the 1960s she began Roline Subscription Service, a magazine subscription service, and was successful in that business for many years.
She made her choice to serve the Lord early in life and was faithful in that service until her death.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Ray on December 2, 2010, her parents Jake and Hannah Tapper, and siblings: Hilda, Walter, Harold and Melbourne.
She is survived by her daughters, Rita (Dave) Miller and Joni Roline; two grandchildren, Ryan (Shari) Miller, Amber (Dave) Riggenbach, four great-grandchildren: Olivia, Oscar, Jude and Taryn.
She is also survived by two nephews; John (Donna) Smidt and Jim (Sharolyn) Smidt, two nieces; Roberta Johnson, Barbara (Ed) Neibauer and great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
