Ruth E. Blohm

Ruth E. Blohm, 95, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at ManorCare in West Des Moines, Iowa. No services are planned. A private inurnment will be held at Resthaven Mausoleum in West Des Moines.

Ruth lived in Davenport, Iowa for many years until moving to West Des Moines in 2000. She worked for the Milwaukee Railroad until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Davenport.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Ron) Fall of West Des Moines, IA; son, James (Judy) Blohm of Susisun City, CA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roy (Evelyn) Porter of Davenport, IA. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon M. Blohm.
