Missing you Dad. I hope that you are in a better place and enjoying the world from a different perspective. It has almost been a year and I think about you at some point almost every day. Seeing your life and end of life as we know it has made me appreciate every day, the people I care for and the life that I am blessed with. I try not to take it for granted and have to remind myself constantly, but I believe that we all get caught up in our daily lives and forget to be appreciative for what we should be ever thankful for everyday. I hope to see you again someday, but since none of us really know what's next even if we are strong in our beliefs regarding the after life, I will keep on hoping.

Hi mr rick I realy do miss you. summer is coming & im planing on going to get your camper out of moth ball for the season. Rod has offered to help. Shirly & the boys are realy looking forword to going camping with kaleb sandy & I. We all wish you were still hear to go with in person but I know you will be thare in sprit love ya bro say hi to god for us all

I really am missing you Mister Rick! You knew how much you helped me with my struggles over that last 17 months. I can't find anyone else who understands. Thank you my friend & God bless! I know "it is what it is"!!

I will always remember Rick and Shirley, special place in my heart. I am glad I got the time I did have with you all.

Ahhh what wonderful memories of a good high school friend.  The laughter, joking around, hanging out...  Rick had a great sense of humor and warm caring personality. My heart goes out to Rick's family and friends.  I will mourn your loss my friend.  The world was a better place with you in it.

Great friend/"brother", best roommate, Best Man X 2, and one of best co-conspirators of the hell-raising early days. Sad to learn there were too many years and miles between us since then to know about his illness or to help. Rest well friend.

For Shirley (Rick's special gal) Mark (Rick's wonderful son and his family)..our hearts go out to you.  Rick was a great friend.  We will always remember the good times we had; football seasons, playing pool in the basement, Rick & Bob's chess games, hanging on the deck laughing and enjoying the day.  We will miss you always Mr. Rick.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of our high school classmate.  My prayers and good thoughts are going out you all at this time.

Our thoughts go out to your family at this very sad time. We will treasure our happy memories of the times we spent with Rick in earlier years. He was a great classmate, camping buddy, and special roommate of friends. Many hours of laughter spent with him over the years. We remember his warmth and openness as a friend. Bless your family.
