Oeetah "Joy" Pauline Huey, age 89, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. She was born on September 12, 1929, in Kansas City, Missouri to David and Mae Thomas.

Joy was a retired Executive Secretary in Des Moines, working for Look Magazine and Blank Theaters. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Huey in 1996 and her brother. She is survived by her sons, Duane and David Huey; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
