Morgan Fry, 22, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away suddenly on February 8, 2025. Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Grace Church in Des Moines. Visitation with the family will take place from 9 – 11 a.m., with a service at 11 a.m.
Morgan was born on September 12, 2002, in Chandler, Arizona, to Daniel and Ima (Cabradilla) Parriott. She grew up in Chatham, IL and attended Glenwood High School before pursuing her passion for ministry at Moody Bible Institute, where she earned a degree in Women’s Ministry. Jesus was the foundation of her life, and she found immense joy in serving others through His love. She cherished her role as a Resident Assistant on the sixth floor at Moody, where she formed deep and lasting friendships, especially with her dear friend, Tori. She was also warmly welcomed into the team at Communication Innovators, where she worked in the service department.
Morgan had lived in Des Moines for only two short years, but in that time, she embraced the most meaningful roles of her life by being a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Gage Fry, a loving mother to their beautiful daughter, Marie Elouise Fry, and, above all, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She approached every aspect of her life with grace, strength, and unwavering faith, including the joy of motherhood, as she lovingly delivered Marie with courage and resilience.
Morgan found happiness in the simple joys of life, coffee, thrifting, writing, and spending time in God's creation. She enjoyed hiking and cherished evenings filled with laughter, faithful friends, and movie nights with Gage, especially if ice cream was involved. She was a gentle spirit, thoughtful, giving, selfless, content, and a great listener. Her presence brought warmth and love to all who knew her.
Morgans memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Gage; their precious daughter, Marie Elouise; her parents, Daniel and Ima; her siblings, Juree, Drew, Taylor (Nolan Flattery); her grandparents, Sherry Parriott, Benedicta Cabradilla; aunts, Elizabeth, Sarah (Frank Rombouts), Johanna Cabradilla, Laureen Cabradilla; uncles, Kenneth Cabradilla (Tim Yap); parents-in-law, Ryan and Leah Fry; sister-in-law, Mack (Josh) Carmenatte and their baby, Moses; sisters-in-law, Nay and Shay; and brothers-in-law, Vea and Tay.
Though Morgan’s time on earth was far too brief, her impact was immeasurable. She lived with love, served with humility, and left behind a legacy of trust in our Father that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for future placement in her honor.
