Marcy Ann Beveridge, 73, passed away March 31, 2025 at Morning Star Assisted Living in West Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with a visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Marcy was born July 9, 1951 in Des Moines to Robert and Darlene (Conder) Miller. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and then from Drake University. Her parents owned Miller’s Hardware and Marcy helped out there for many years. Marcy competed with her longtime companion of 45 years, Roger Stowell, in American Kennel Club and American Field Trial shows. She enjoyed crafting and gardening and sold items throughout the county at craft shows and farmers markets. Marcy also loved watermelon, sweetcorn, and especially dogs.
Marcy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda; infant brother, David; and companion, Roger.
