Mabel Marie Jones Klobnak, 92, was called home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2016 in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McLaren’s.
Mabel was born February 2, 1924, to Asa and Bertha Jones in Couch, Missouri. She was a member of DAR, DAC, Colonial Dames, and long-time member of First Federated in Des Moines.
Mabel is survived by her children, Roy (Cathy) Klobnak and Sherry (Larry) Young; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andy Klobnak; brother, Ernie Jones; and sister, Ioan Guiles.
