Lane Wolfe

Lane Scott Wolfe, 58, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. with visitation starting at 1 p.m. at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Lane was born September 12, 1959 to Leonard and Doris (Lillegard) Wolfe in Des Moines. He had a thirst for knowledge and could not put a book down until he finished it. Lane loved the outdoors and spent much of his time fishing, hunting, and was an avid trapper. He was a retired brick mason from Wolfe Masonry.

Lane is survived by his father, Leonard L. Wolfe of Windsor Heights; brothers, Randy (Shari) Wolfe of Des Moines and Kirby (Paula) Wolfe of West Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris A. Wolfe, and brother, Troy Mason Wolfe.
