Kevin Hodson, 50, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McLaren’s.
Kevin was born June 7, 1964 in Des Moines to Vernon and Verga Hodson. He graduated from Waukee High School and Iowa State University. Kevin worked for the FDIC and received many awards through the years. On that list was an award from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Dover, DE. He enjoyed woodworking, reading and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughter, Casey; son, Zachary; parents; siblings, his twin, Kenneth (Kelly) Hodson of Lake St. Louis, MO, Ronald Hodson of Johnston, Steven (Sandy) Frame of Adel, Terri (Ben) Johnson of Winterset and Terresa Sholes of Ottumwa.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army.
