Jocelyn Denise Hart, age 65, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Jocelyn was born on December 12, 1956 in Denver, Colorado. She was a 1975 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Des Moines and played the clarinet in the marching band and the Steperettes. She enjoyed and excelled in secretarial classes and also worked in the Roosevelt HS Office during high school.
After high school, she enlisted in the US Army and served in Germany. Jocelyn received an honorable discharge and continued her education under the GI Bill. She attended and graduated from Guilford Technical School, graduating with high honors and making the Dean's List. Continuing her education, she attended Park University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Science. Jocelyn completed her education at Baker University where she received her Masters Degree in Science as well.
She was an avid reader and loved to read books. She adored her pets. Service to her country was significant to Jocelyn.
Jocelyn is survived by her companion and forever soulmate Randy Baker of Des Moines.
