JoAnne Wash, 88 of West Des Moines, IA, passed away December 4th at Grand Living Tower Place in West Des Moines, IA. A celebration of life will be held at Lutheran Church of Hope, West Des Moines, IA at 11:00 am on Tuesday December 17th followed by a luncheon and visitation.
JoAnne was born 10-12-36 in Des Moines, IA to Bernice (Brinton) and Paul Arley Holman. JoAnne grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School where she was a Majorette. She worked at Sears and Roebuck in the credit department after High School until she married.
JoAnne is survived by her daughters Dawn Johnson and Debra Olson of West Des Moines, sister JoLene Lee of Jackson, TN, grandchildren Dana Ranniger (Anthony) of Waukee, Tyler Olson (Sandy) of Medellin, Colombia, great grandsons Jackson Ranniger and David Olson, and great granddaughters Delaney Ranniger, Savannah Olson and Zoe Olson.
Preceded in death are her parents, Paul and Bernice Holman, husband John T. Wash the love of her life, brother Dean Holman, granddaughter Alexis Olson and son-in-law Dale Johnson Jr.
