Jacqueline J. Wagler, 80, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery.
Jackie was born September 26, 1935, in Hills, IA to Delbert E. and Verda A. Nelson. Following her graduation from Mount Pleasant High School, she married Willis W. Wagler in 1953. She spent most of her adult life in Sigourney, Des Moines, and Omaha.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Debra J. (Rick) Andrews of Omaha, NE; son, Kenneth S. Wagler of Bettendorf; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Jill, Lori, Austin, and Alissa; six great-grandchildren, Caden, Delaney, Riley, Connor, Audrey, and Colton; three siblings, Sondra K. Cochran of Mount Pleasant, James D. Nelson of Sonoma, CA, and Nancy N. Staal of Wichita, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
