Donald E. Robbins Jr., 68, passed away February 12, 2018 at his home. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday.
Donald was born July 12, 1949 in Burlington, Iowa to Donald Sr. and Mary Alice Robbins. He was a wounded vet who served his country in Vietnam from July of 1966 to July 1969. Donald looked forward to hunting and eating morel mushrooms every year. He was also a great lover of dogs, particularly the Maltese breed. There is a little dog named Sassy who is missing him terribly.
Donald leaves behind a wife, Kae; daughter, Tina; son Scott (Tammy); three grandchildren; his mother; three brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Robbins Sr.; and one brother.
