Dannetta Jo Feleay of Urbandale, Iowa, passed away on June 10, 2020. She is now resting in heaven, pain-free with her heavenly father. Please do not be sad but instead rejoice with us as she is at peace. She is watching over us and lifting her voice in song.
Dannetta was born on May 15, 1942, in Nebraska. She graduated from Seaman High School and went on to obtain a teaching degree from Washburn University. She was an educator, not only professionally but also at home with her children. She was continually encouraging others to learn and grow. Dannetta married the love of her life, James David Feleay, on June 10, 1966. They completed 54 years of marriage. She was active in the church and loved by all who knew her.
Dannetta is survived by her loving husband Jim, daughters Susan (Terry) Schnirring, Diane Andrade, and Sharon Covey; grandchildren, Rebecca Andrade (27), Ashley Dusenbery (27), Abigail (Josh) Spiewak (26), David Andrade (24), Anna Andrade (21), and Jordan Dusenbery (21); great-grandchildren, Cataleya Spiewak, Xander Playle, and one more on the way.
