Barbara H. Warren, 83, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Luther Park Health Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with visitation one hour prior to services. Following cremation inurnment will be in Dodge Cemetery at Bagley, Iowa. She was born Barbara Joan Head on August 27, 1926 at Fort Dodge, Iowa and graduated from Bayard High School in 1944. She married Francis Warren on July 1, 1950 at Maryville, MO. Barbara retired from U.S. West in Des Moines on February 17, 1989. She is survived by a daughter, Sue (Michael) Green of Woodward; four grandchildren, Betty (David) Hartman of Des Moines, David and Frank Hadley of Des Moines, and Kelli Warren of Cedar Rapids; seven great-grandchildren, Anneke, Ashley, Cameo, Shawn, Katherine, Sandra and Matthew; and five great-great- grandchildren, Skylar, Caleb, Hannah, Owen and Jayden. Mother has joined her parents, husband and son, John Warren.
