I have many fond memories of Jaime my brother. Jaime  was born on a Wednesday April 7th and came home on Easter Sunday. Two years later Nick was born and they became best friends. We would make many home movies pretending Jimmy was Michael Meyers chasing after Nick, and even Reyna would get parts in the movies. 
I watched my younger siblings during the summer,  I would put on talent shows in my room, we would turn off the lights put some music on  and have the strobe lights going and they would have dancing acts, singing acts, or  just acting goofy.  Jimmy loved to see his shadow bounce off the white walls with the strobe light, so he always would have an act,  it was all good times.
 Jimmy always looked up to his brother-in-law Robert , growing up. Robert would always take him and Nick to Blockbuster to rent video games. They were both very  good at it in many a times they would get in to fights because they  accused each other of using "special" or "cheating" moves. One year Nick and Jimmy entered a blockbuster competition and they both won 1st place in different age group categories. They both won trophys, one year free movie rentals and free pizza vouchers. Their names went up on the wall of blockbuster video store and Jimmy loved to see his name up as the champion. 
 Jimmy always loved music he enjoyed so many different varieties and types and genre's of music. He started creating beats for his group. He had so much talent in creating beats which were used for some of the songs in his group.  I always tried  encourage his love for music to bloom even during his darkest hours and music helped him a lot during those diffcult times. 
 I still can't believe hes gone, I look at pictures and I always think that he'll show up at our next gathering ......but hes not. 
Jimmy loved gatherings no matter what type they were he loved his family and friends.  We love you and you will always and forever be missed.   RIP JIMMY🙏

Jimmy was like a brother to me. I met him when i was around 8 years old so when you do the math it's almost 30 years. Back at shuey school where the legends came from. Lol. Back then Jimmy was a quiet kid. He loved playing video games. I remember him even competing in a Blockbuster Video game contest and taking 1st. He was probably one of the funniest people I ever met and a lot of the time he wasn't even trying. 

 He was a big Joe Montana fan. I remember when he went to the Chiefs, Jimmy went with him. Jimmy was the only Cheifs fan I ever knew. So every time I see them play, it will remind me of him. I would always give him a hard time, but I'm glad they finally won the Superbowl for him. 

He was a very talented individual. One of the best beat makers that I ever met. Before hip hop, I remember him being heavily influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, and anything else he could get his hands on from his older brothers. A lot of it showed in the music he composed, which made his style so unique. Eventually we formed a group together, A Dying Breed. I'm thankful for all of the memories I got to share with Jimmy. 

He was a great friend. Anytime I needed to get something off my chest, I could run it by him and he would give me the truth. He always made me laugh. He was a character.

Based on all of the pictures that I've seen, it looks like he loved his family a lot. He was a controversial person, but he had a really big heart. In his later years he was very outspoken and wasn't afraid to say what he felt. At the time I didn't understand it, but now looking back I realize that Jimmy was fearless. He made me realize that life is so short, it doesn't matter what other people have to say about you. You just have to be yourself. Now that he's gone, I realize how much I truly loved the guy. I'll never forget him. Jimmy aka Quest aka Pinky aka Jimbo aka Papa Shango...lol... You'll forever be in our hearts.

My love. Thank you for caring for me, for being my protector, for being my comfort, and for always making me feel safe.  Thank you for loving me the way you did. No matter if it was going on a trip, having diner, talking on the phone, or my favorite watching TV at the end of the night, being with you was the highlight of my day.  Our time together was short but full of unconditional love.  I’m always going to hold you close and never let go.  

Thank you Jimmy ❤️ for always making us feel like family! Although we were in-laws it was as if we were blood. Our family looked forward to our gatherings because we knew you would be there and you always made it to be a happy n fun occasion.  We are definitely gonna miss your presence, special people don’t come around often , you were One of them! My first memory of Jimmy was when the family just moved in right next door to us. I was out front talking to Joe while Hugo was in the street playing football. I heard a loud yell and Joe said that my brother Jimmy. Next thing you know Jimmy runs into the middle of the street in his diaper yelling I want to play football catch! I remember that like it was yesterday. That’s when I knew this guy was pretty crazy! Ever since then he was a lot of fun! He was like a crazy little brother to me. Jimmy you will definitely be missed brother! Rest In Peace bro. Your buddy Gil !

Family gatherings were  always a must with Jimmy. A family outing, a birthday or a holiday celebration. Thank you for being there when we needed a babysitter for our first born, your niece Monique. Thank you for giving encouragement to Sarah with her art work. Just showing your amazement is a wonderful gift. Thank you for loving Andrew and being a amazing uncle. Playing video games and showing your enthusiasm when he wears his football uniform. Thank you Jimmy for being you. I will miss you but we will always remember the good times.
