Virginia Marin de Flores, age 54, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at her residence in San Carlos. She was born on November 14,1969 in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico to Ascension & Candelaria Marin. Virginia loved singing, dancing, gardening, reading, knitting and watching her novelas. She loved feeding her birds, her dog and cats. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her entire world. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Filimon Flores Jr. and their children: Jessica Marie (Jesse) Serna, Krystal Ann (Rodolfo Perez Alonso) Perez, Filimon (Janis Garcia) Flores III, Belinda Lee (Jose Muniz) Flores and Francisco Orta. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Jessica LeeAnn Serna, Jesse Alexander Serna Jr, Julian Anthony Serna, Rodolfo Perez Jr, Adan Sebastian Perez, Gabriel Estevan Perez, Jaycenn James Flores, Jose Osvaldo Muniz Jr, Amaris Itzel Muniz, Virginia Madeline Muniz, Victoria Alessandra Perez, Lorenzo Filimon Flores, Alex Arley Muniz and her siblings: Marisela Marin Tarin, Blanca Estella Marin Tarin, Ascension Marin Cervantes and Griselda Marin Torin. Having the honor of serving as pallbearers are: Jesse Alexander Serna, Jose Muniz, Francisco Orta, Ronny Marin, Rodolfo Perez Jr, Julian Anthony Serna and honorary pallbearers: Filimon Flores, Jesse Alexander Serna Jr. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 3 pm to midnight with a rosary at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 10 am at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. As per Mrs. Marin de Flores' request cremation will take place privately at Heavenly Grace Crematory in La Feria.
