Vicenta Silva, age 93, of Edinburg, Texas passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. Vicenta was born on February 4, 1930 to Abel & Sofia Alanis in Thrall, Texas. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Gonzalo Silva Rodriguez who has preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children: Hermilo (Sandra) Silva , Aurora (Willie) Camina, Maria Estela (Jaime) Guerra, Irma (Mark) Torres, Gonzalo (Alma) Silva Jr., Armando (Kimberly) Silva, Mary (Florencio) Treviño and David (Veronica) Silva; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be celebrated at 12 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco followed by an interment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
