Tiburcia was born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Tiburcia R. Mena was loving and devoted wife to Didio Mena who was preceded her death together, they raised ten children and instilled in them values of hard work, honesty and kindness.

She was also a cherished grandmother, to numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She loved spending time gardening; she had numerous roses and her favorite Crown of thorns, She enjoyed knitting, crafts and cooking. Tiburcia had a great beautiful family who was very loved by.

A visitation for Tiburcia will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Highland Funeral Home, 6705 N FM 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A funeral mass will occur Monday, April 3, 2023 at 1:00 PM at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Weslaco, Texas 78596 Following by a entombment on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North FM 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
