Samuel Teixeira de Lima

Samuel Teixeira de Lima, age 45, of Edcouch, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Samuel was born on January 6, 1978 to David Anthony Teixeira de Lima and Betty Jean de Lima Perkins in Nuevo Leon.

Samuel was a very helpful and responsible person with his work. He loved to do crazy things with his kids like going camping and riding motorcycle. He loved nature so much that he had chickens, goats, calves and of course cats. He was planning to retire so he could tend to his ranchito. He loved video recording that he spent a lot of his time with his friend and brother "Jonathan" who shared the same hobby. He also served his church by filming and he never hesitated to use his means to serve God.

Samuel is survived by his wife Genoveva Barrera, his children Mayra Vianey (Carlos Campos), Brenda Loreth, Analysha Teixeira and Aleksandre, his mother Betty Jean Delima and siblings Jonathan, Nathan, Janie Pita.

Samuel was preceded in death by his father David Anthony Teixeira Delima and Ashley Lynn.

A visitation for Samuel will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 12:00 PM till 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:45 PM at Funeraria del Angel - Highland, 6705 N. FM 88 Weslaco, TX 78599.
