Rocio Esparza, age 44, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Rocio was born on August 30, 1979 to Elias Esparza Jr.and Rosalinda Rodriguez in Mexico.

Rocio is survived by her parents Elias Esparza Jr. and Rosalinda Rodriguez; her son Angel Gabriel Esparza, daughter Gloria Lizbeth (Isaiah) Cantu; brothers Carlos (Brenda) Esparza, Juan (Saira) Esparza and Jose Alfredo Rodriguez; and her nieces and nephews Abraham A. Esparza, Adan E. Esparza, Aaron A. Esparza, Itzabella Esparza, Alexandra Esparza, Ivan Esparza and Valeria Esparza.

Rocio is preceded in death by her nephew Juan Jesus Esparza Jr.

A visitation for Rocio will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 2:00 PM with an overnight visitation to Friday, September 8, 2023 at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599. A chapel service will occur Friday, September 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM, followed by the interment at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
