Raquel Y. Garcia

Raquel is survived by her children Maria Flores (Javier), Belinda Vallejo (Juan), Rebecca Mascorro (Pilar), Rodolfo Garcia Jr. and Rogelio Garcia; her brothers Roberto Ybarra and Raul Ybarra, her sisters Lupita Gomez, Isabel Rodriguez and Rosa M. Garza; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Raquel was preceded in death by her parents Rafael and Guadalupe Ybarra; husband Rodolfo Garcia; her daughter Gloria C. Rincon, her sons Ruben Garcia and Rigoberto Garcia; her brothers Carlos Ybarra, Emilio Ybarra and Rafael Ybarra Jr.; her grandsons Roman G. Rincon, and Rudy Gene Rincon.

Raquel was a women of strong faith, courage and character that leaves a legacy of believing in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A visitation for Raquel will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78599. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 920 Anaquitas St., Mercedes, TX 78570, followed by an interment at 1:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78599.
