He was born to Anita and Pablo Gonzalez in Weslaco TX, on June 25, 1940. He is survived by his brother Cristobal Gonzalez and four sisters; Merara Sambrano, Rosa Valenzuela, Victoria Centeno, and Maria Gutierrez.
Pablo and Yolanda married on March 3, 1959, and resided in Weslaco, Texas where they started their family. Because of his work he relocated his small family to Greenfield California where the rest of their six children were born. In 1977 they moved to Weslaco, TX which they called home for 46 years. During this time, they had dual residence in Greenfield, CA until his retirement in 2011.
Pablo was a good husband, father, friend, mentor and amazing father-in-law. He could be found telling stories with a twinkle, and smile in his eyes as he recalled the many adventures in his life. Pablo enjoyed the outdoors, which led him to a career as a truck driver; until he retired to spend time with his family. Driving was a challenging career, but it allowed him the opportunity to provide well for his family, and to do something he felt was essential to our country. He also had the chance to see some of the most beautiful sights of our nation. He will be dearly missed.
Pablo is survived by his children Rolando G. Gonzales (Delia), Maricelda Cruz (Javier), Noe Gonzales (Hilda), Noel Aaron Gonzales (Marty), Leroy Gonzales (Teresa), Ricky Gonzales (Ida). Pablo was grandfather to 14, great grandfather to 22, and a great-great grandfather of two.
