Melissa is survived by her parents Martin Hernandez and Olga Hernandez; her siblings Olga Ybarra (Jose Juan), Martin Hernandez Jr. (Mariela), Mayra Perez (Rodrigo Jr.), Esmeralda Garcia (Jose Antonio) and Maria Hernandez, her nieces and nephews Jose Juan Ybarra II (Alyssa) and his daughters, Chloe and Heaven Ybarra, Kaitlyn Ybarra, Nathaniel Hernandez, Emily Perez, Abigail Perez, Jose Antonio Garcia Jr. and Jazmine Janell Garcia.
She was graduated from Weslaco High School class of 2017, born and raised in Weslaco. Her favorite hobbies were making bracelets and coloring. She loved shopping at her favorite stores Buc-ee's, Dollar Tree, and at DownTown McAllen. Her favorite colors were purple and pink. She loved going on walks at the park with her sisters. She loved Mickey Mouse and loved to hear music, to dance and loved taking pictures. She loved spending time with all her family.
A visitation for Melissa will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to Saturday, April 16, 2022 10:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A chapel service will occur Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM, followed by the interment at 1:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
