Martha Patricia Castro

Martha Patricia Castro, 59, left to be with the Lord on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Grand Terrace in McAllen. Martha was born to Gabino Roman and Martha Elena Chavez on August 26, 1962 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Noe Gonzalez Jr., Mark Anthony Gonzalez, Yuriko Castro; grandchildren: Noe III, Aaliyah, Mark Jr., Orlando, Leo, Alejandro, Evora and Sofia. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters: Susana Martinez, Hortencia Gonzalez and Lydia Carrillo.

Martha loved to sing, dance and cook. The outdoors brought her serenity and she loved caring for animals. Her work ethic was a prominent trait, as was her ability to make people laugh, but her greatest ability was being able to beat everybody at Loteria.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4 pm to 10 pm with a funeral service at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Cremation services will be held privately at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel Highland of Weslaco.
