Maria A. Sosa

Maria is now reunited with her beloved husband Ruperto Sosa Sr., her mother Ana Maria Flores, her children, Jose M, Ricardo, Elena, and Gloria, her grandchildren Steven, Manuel, and Juan Rivera and her sisters Teresa Piña, Guadalupe De Leon, Socorro Lozano,and Esperanza Cantu.

Left to cherish Maria's memory are her children Ruperto Jr., Elvia (Robert) Matamoros, Juan and David Sosa, her brother Jesus Flores. Maria is also survived by her 25 grandchildren: Johnny, Gary, Melissa, Mark, Elisa, Rupert III, Jessica, Robert, David, Andrew, Monica, Joey, Norma, Debbie, Ricardo, Mercie, Johnny, Erika, David Jr., Meagan, Nicole, Christian, Dominic, Gavin, and Junior and her 47 great grandchildren: Julissa, Johnny, Noah, Jeremy, J.J., Evelyn, Ashley, Joseph, Annie, James, Mark Jr., Oliviyah, Daniela, Marco, Miguel, Jackie, Stevie, Sophia, Cyress, Andrew Jr., Katalina, Isabela, Lourdes, P.J., Derek, Myah, Roslyn, Raul, Robyn, Keith, Brijida, Selene, Ricardo, Merida, Guadalupe, Ethaniel, Presley, Brittney, Briana, Bianca, Bailey, Brook, Deya, Jaylene, Jordan, Zoey and Zigi and 21 Great-Great grandchildren: Rene, Maria, Jesus, Jake, Brayden, Natalia, Alessandra, Adriana, Jaelene, Rolando Jr., Adrielle, Bella, Joseph, Mckenna, Eliana, Kinsley, Raul, Lina, Michael, Edward, and Matthias.

Maria was a lifelong resident of Elsa, Tx where she was fondly known as "Mariquita". Mariquita was a loving mother and grandmother who would use her faith in God to heal. Known for her yard sales and her generosity where everyone would receive a meal upon entering her home. She will be greatly missed and will forever live in our hearts.
