Maria Inez Pena

Maria Inez Pena, age 81, left to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. She was born on January 13, 1943 in Nuevo León, Mexico. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Jose Pena and her children: Juan Jose (Blanca) Pena, Jose Oviedo (Daisy) Pena, Delia (Rene) Alanis, Isidoro (Crystal) Pena, Esmeralda (Saul) Elizondo and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is now reunited with her two sons, Omar (America) Pena and Joel Pena who have preceded her in death. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 2 pm to midnight with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be celebrated at 10 am, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco followed by the interment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
