Juana G. Davila, a beloved matriarch and cherished family member, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, she lived a life full of love, devotion, and joy in Weslaco, Texas. Juana was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Juana's family was the cornerstone of her life. She was fiercely devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she took great pride in spoiling them with love, attention, and her warm presence. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love for her family made her a cherished figure to all. Her children, Dolores Gonzales, Maria Robles, Pablo Davila, Mario Antonio (Tony) Davila, Eliazar (Eli) Davila, Ruben Davila, Martina Llanes, and Elizabeth Edwards, will forever treasure the memories of the times spent with their mother and grandmother.

In addition to her role as a loving family matriarch, Juana had a deep passion for gardening, where she found peace and joy tending to her plants and flowers. She loved being outdoors and found solace in the beauty of nature. Her garden was a reflection of her caring nature, blooming with love just as her family did under her guidance.

Juana's life was marked by her love for her husband of 68 years, Antonio Davila, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories, raising a beautiful family and building a legacy of love. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rosalva (Rosie) Falcon, whose memory she held dear.

Juana leaves behind a large and loving family, including 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her deeply. Her love, laughter, and wisdom will live on through the generations she nurtured and cared for.

A visitation for Juana will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 1PM - 9PM with a prayer service at 7PM. A chapel service will occur Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10AM with a burial to follow. All services will occur at Funeraria Del Angel Highland and Memorial Park, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596.

Juana's memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life serves as a testament to the importance of family, love, and kindness. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

La vida de Juana estuvo marcada por su amor hacia su esposo de 68 años, Antonio Dávila, quien la precedió en la muerte. Juntos compartieron una vida llena de recuerdos, criando una hermosa familia y construyendo un legado de amor. También la precedió en la muerte su hija, Rosalva (Rosie) Falcón, cuyo recuerdo ella siempre atesoró.

Juana deja atrás una gran y amorosa familia, que incluye 21 nietos, 44 bisnietos y 6 tataranietos, todos los cuales la extrañarán profundamente. Su amor, risa y sabiduría vivirán a través de las generaciones que ella crió y cuidó.

La visita para Juana será el jueves 10 de abril de 2025, de 1 p.m. a 9 p.m., con un servicio de oración a las 7 p.m. El servicio en la capilla se llevará a cabo el viernes 11 de abril de 2025 a las 10 a.m., seguido de su sepultura. Todos los servicios se realizarán en Funeraria Del Angel Highland y Memorial Park, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596.
