Duvin, born to Raul Galvan and Gerarda Krummel Galvan, took his first breath on November 26, 1963. Duvin was a force to be reckoned with from the get go, graduating from Weslaco High School in 1982 and attended Pan American University.
While Duvin never married, he lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. His brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces meant more to him than words can describe. You could always find Duvin cheering on the Mighty Red Ants and his alma mater, the Weslaco Panthers.
When Duvin retired, he devoted most of his time to supporting his family and friends. Whether it be attending sporting events or contests for his nephews and nieces, or helping out a buddy with a Bar-B-Q, Duvin was ever present and supportive. He was also an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Progreso, Texas. We will miss him dearly.
Duvin joins his father, Raul Galvan, in Heaven. He is survived by his mother, Gerarda K. Galvan, brothers Raul Galvan Jr. (Angie), Daniel Galvan (Rebecca) and sisters Diana Chavez (Francisco), Deborah Morgado (Pedro) and Delfa Padron (Abraham), as well as nine nephews and nieces and one great-nephew.
